ArtsATL is happy to announce the inaugural ArtsATL Luminary Awards, multidisciplinary prizes that commemorate and pay tribute to the artists, organizations, exhibitions and individual works that are shaping Atlanta.
The four awards — The Beacon Award for Community Engagement, the Catalyst Award for Social Discourse, the Amaranth Award for Philanthropic Legacy and the Kindle Award for Innovative Practice — are open for nominations through Friday, October 21. Nominations may be issued at ArtsATL. Each award is open not just to individuals, but to organizations, exhibitions, and singular works across all disciplines. Winners will be selected by the Luminary Awards selection panel and formally announced at the ArtsATL 2016 Luminary Awards Show, which will take place on January 22, 2017 at Terminal West.
