Join social media experts for a workshop geared towards film and TV professionals. Learn how to brand yourself through various social channels to further your online presence and career. Multiple thought leaders will provide tons of awesome content, countless tips and new strategies during flash talks and mini workshops which will be followed by a question & answer session.

The Social Media Workshop takes place on Wednesday, June 28 from 6:30PM-9:00PM at General Assembly located at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE in Atlanta.

WIFTA: Train to Be a Well-Rounded Actor

The Actor’s Track with Victoria Spencer-Smith workshop will assist actors in getting behind the story with their body and soul. It starts with finding all the clues in the script then moves into the performance. Every actor will merge their personality with their character. We will work on popular movie and/or television scripts.

WIFTA: Introducing Atlanta’s premier Writer’s Workshop Series

Join WIFTA for the Writer’s Workshop Series taught by esteemed industry professionals. This intensive three-part workshop is for writers looking to further their careers in film and television and connect with fellow writers. 

Coming all the way from Los Angeles, learn the craft from Pilar Alessandra, director of the writing program On the Page®, host of the popular On the Page Podcast and author of “The Coffee Break Screenwriter.” Her students and clients have written for “The Walking Dead,” “Lost,” “House of Lies,” “Nip Tuck” and “Family Guy.” 

As well as, one of Atlanta’s busiest script consultants for film and TV, Linda Sherbert, a veteran writer, script consultant, and instructor of screenwriting courses. She’s coached writers on how to market their projects.

This three-weekend Workshop starts on July 29 with Session 1 and will take place in midtown Atlanta at Georgia Public Broadcasting. You must attend Session 1 to register for Sessions 2 and 3, which will be held on August 19 & 20 and September 30 & October 1, respectively. 

It all starts with a great blueprint and the the Writer’s Workshop Series will help you fill in the blanks.
