The annual Savannah Stopover music festival has announced the first 40 acts for next year’s event. And a good chunk of them are Georgia bands, including Larkin Poe, of Montreal, Illegal Drugs, David Barbe & Inward Dream Ebb, Pylon Reenactment Society and Ruby Velle & the Soulphonics.

Other announced performers include Wild Child (Austin), Shopping (London), Sarah Shook & the Disarmers (North Carolina), Public Access TV (New York City), The War and Treaty (Michigan), The Nude Party (North Carolina) and many others. More bands will be announced in January, with more than 80 acts expected to participate.

The annual three-day fest showcases a wide-ranging mix of established and up-and-coming, under-the-radar musical talent. Next year’s event takes place March 8th through 10th at various venues throughout Savannah. For passes and more info, visit savannahstopover.com.
