California tax credits draw ‘Good Girls’ away from Georgia

For the first time since California expanded its film and television tax program to draw runaway production back to the state, a television show has opted to leave Georgia and its rich incentives for the Golden State.

NBC’s “Good Girls,” which shot its first season in Atlanta, will film its second season in California.

Lifetime’s “You” will also relocate from New York, marking the fourth series to quit the Empire State for California after “The Affair,” “The OA” and “Sneaky Pete.”
