Content Creators of Atlanta, Inc, a non-profit organization for Atlanta’s Independent Scriptwriters and Content Creators host its’ 2nd annual gala this Sunday at the Historic Hammond House in Atlanta’s West End, the event benefits aspiring writers with grants to enhance their career.
Content Creators of Atlanta focuses on the development of scriptwriting professionals in the entertainment industry to continue to grow the industry in Georgia by providing grants for writers to educate in Atlanta, LA, New York, and abroad. For their inaugural ceremony, the CCA Awards welcomed 150 guests, ten press outlets, and awarded some of the finest content creators in Atlanta. A few of our winners were signed by agents; others have gone on to produce their scripts. By focusing on continued education including a Master Class series, seminars, grants to industry conferences, and micro funding to help promote their project. Content Creators of Atlanta will further connect Atlanta to the Hollywood and New York Entertainment Industry. “Content Creators of Atlanta is the only organization is Atlanta to focus on the bases of production in Atlanta – the writers. To ensure the booming film industry is sustainable in our city we must focus on celebrating and educating writers,” said AZ Yeamen, Founder and Executive Director.
Content Creators of Atlanta was founded in July of 2017 with the mission to provide Atlanta’s scriptwriters with the knowledge and education is takes to elevate content in Atlanta. Building a community, connections and writing opportunities for qualified members.
Content Creators of Atlanta’s first Board of Directors meeting was held on October 21, 2017. The Board of Directors is comprised of the President of the Board, AZ Yeamen, Founder and Executive Director at Bridge 17 Scriptwriters’ Studio; Director of Special Events Sharon Tomlinson, CEO and Producer at Studio 11 Films; and Treasurer Ivan Iverson COO of Archive Entertainment. “All of our Board Members are dedicated to moving the needle and ensuring Atlanta’s success. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we build Atlanta’s content creators to the scale of New York and LA.” AZ Yeamen, Executive Director.
