No, the local high school graduate isn’t playing the iconic secret agent, but Magnussen is cast in the next installment of the James Bond franchise alongside stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch and Ralph Fiennes.
Magnussen’s role in the film isn’t clear, although RadioTimes reports he’s rumored to play a CIA agent.
Regardless, Magnussen posted the official trailer for “No Time to Die” on his Instagram account on Wednesday, the same day it was released.
“I swear I’m off camera in one of these shots!!” Magnussen said.
Magnussen’s involvement in one of Hollywood’s most iconic franchises marks another ascendant moment in his acting career.
The 2003 South Forsyth High School graduate first broke into the acting world on Broadway, in 2007, then got another big break when he was cast in the soap opera “As the World Turns” from 2008 until it was canceled in 2010. See more Forsyth News.
