The Lake Country Entertainment 100 event, presented by Putnam County, the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Entertainment News, is set for December 12th. The evening affair will host the who’s who of entertainment including directors, producers and studio executives. Local and statewide political leaders will be honored and recognized at the event acknowledging their role in creating a business friendly environment for filmmakers.
“Because of our prime location, we have seen tremendous growth in film, music and gaming in the region,” says Emily Holt with the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce. “Living and working in the Lake Country, it’s easy to see the natural beauty and creative culture of our workforce. The Entertainment 100 event provides an outlet to show productions that we are committed to their success in every way.”
“It’s well-known that the Lake Country communities are progressive with local government collaborating closely with the private sector. The two have come together to create an environment that rival first tier cities,” says Randy Davidson, President of Georgia Entertainment News. “We are proud to partner to host this event.”
The purpose of such an exclusive event is to create a learning atmosphere to share more about the Lake Country while networking without distractions that often occur at open invitation type programs.
